About Us

Hi love, and welcome to Animalcolorpages.com! Let us hear you roar!

Two boy mom sisters who recognized the need for more animal coloring pages for our little boys.

We are on a mission to change that with a whole lotta love!

How Animal Color Pages Started…

Mom: What’s your favorite animal?

Son: A bear Mommy.

Mom: What is your bear doing?

Son: He’s walking, momma!

Boom Animalcolroingpages.com was born. Our children love picture animals, pretend animal play, and coloring, but when it comes to in-person play, they are the cutest (seriously, another story).

This little corner of creativity, and eduction fueled by our kiddos’ energy, our family’s love, and the encouragement of our beautiful community.

They are our best testers, and idea generators!!! We have a ton of niece’s and nephews who inspire us too!

Every coloring page we create is inspired by God’s creation of the animals we share this world with and the joy they bring to all of us.

The best part is the animal coloring pages are FREE!

Benefits of Coloring for Kids

Here’s a list of five benefits of coloring for both kids along with explanations and the social-emotional and developmental impacts:

1. Improves Fine Motor Skills

• Coloring helps strengthen the small muscles in the fingers, hands, and wrists, which are crucial for tasks like writing, buttoning clothes, and tying shoes.

• Studies have shown that engaging in activities requiring fine motor control improves overall manual dexterity in children and adults.

2. Enhances Focus and Concentration

• For Kids: The act of coloring helps children practice sitting still and focusing on a task for an extended period.

This improves their ability to concentrate in school and during other structured activities.

• Source: Mindfulness-based stress reduction practices, like coloring, have been linked to improved focus and reduced anxiety (American Psychological Association).

3. Supports Emotional Regulation

• For Kids: Coloring offers a safe outlet to express emotions. The repetitive motion can be calming and helps regulate feelings of stress, anger, or frustration.

Art therapy research supports the idea that creative activities like coloring provide emotional relief and reduce cortisol levels.

4. Boosts Creativity and Self-Expression

• For Kids: Choosing colors, patterns, and designs helps children make decisions and explore their creativity.

It also nurtures individuality and self-expression.

• The American Art Therapy Association emphasizes the importance of creativity in emotional healing and stress reduction.

5. Improves Hand-Eye Coordination and Cognitive Skills

• For Kids: Coloring within the lines, tracing shapes, and planning designs all improve spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.

These skills are foundational for learning to write and draw.

Coloring isn’t just fun—it’s an effective tool for mental and physical development.
